Nerola Terms of Use

1. Scope
These terms govern use of the Nerola iOS app. By using the app you accept them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the extent it does not conflict with these terms.
2. The service
Nerola is a game for practising English vocabulary by typing answers on an A-to-Z letter wheel. The dictionary, pronunciation audio, learning list, review words and badges are available to everyone in the free version. The first three saved new rounds have no daily limit. Afterwards the free version allows one new round per local calendar day. These three include, rather than add to, the daily round. Resuming or restarting the same round and retrying an answer do not consume another new round; an unfinished round and the learning section remain available.
3. Nerola Plus
Nerola Plus removes the daily limit on new rounds. Plus grants no badges or points and does not change the content.
- Nerola Plus is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge. The total local price is displayed before purchase and payment is charged to your Apple account.
- Plus removes the daily new-round limit in Nerola. It does not promise all future separate products, new content every day, or indefinite operation of online services.
- The free starting rounds are not an auto-renewing trial and require no payment details.
- You can restore purchases on the same Apple account with “Restore purchases”.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
Reverse-engineering the app, copying or redistributing its content, or using it in a way that disrupts the service is prohibited. The app’s own content (word banks, clues, explanations, dictionary entries, interface text, sounds and layout) is protected by copyright and related rights; you receive only a limited licence for personal, non-commercial use.
This restriction does not cover third-party material. The robot assets listed in 4.1 are governed by their own licence, and nothing in these terms narrows the rights that licence grants you.
4.1 Third-party robot asset
Nerola’s robot character is based on “Talking Robot” by bvg, published on LottieFiles under the Lottie Simple License (https://lottiefiles.com/free-animation/talking-robot-LbfabGwDCV). The robot images in the app, the robot drawn on screen, the app icon and the robot on the offer screen are copies or derivatives of that work and remain subject to the same licence, which permits reproduction, modification and distribution including for commercial purposes and does not require attribution. The full licence text ships with the app in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt; a short attribution is shown in the app’s Badges section. Nerola claims no original authorship or trademark rights in that work, and the work is not exclusive to Nerola.
5. Liability
Nerola is a learning aid, not a language certificate or exam result. The service is provided “as is”; to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.
6. Changes and termination
We may change the service and these terms; material changes are announced in the app. Use that violates these terms may be suspended. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Deleting the app does not automatically request a refund; Apple’s refund process applies. Nerola Plus has no auto-renewal to cancel.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected. For purchases made through the App Store, Apple’s own terms and refund process also apply.
